To format a picture

1. Place your insertion point on the bullet point containing the picture link.
2. From the Format menu, choose Picture.

   The Format Picture dialog box is displayed.

3. Use the specify alignment, size and border properties for the picture.

It is essential that your image is sized and aligned correctly. A large image may be too wide or too tall to display on a single slide; while a smaller image may not appear properly at higher video resolutions.

Choosing a Shrink to Fit size option lets Alive e-Show make an intelligent guess about how small the image should be. This option is not available for GIF images.

If you choose to specify an exact height for the picture, you should select Keep width and height proportionate. This enables you to type a value into either the width box or the height box and Alive e-Show will update the other value automatically.

Notes

• The Size options on this dialog box will not be available if you have attached a GIF file.
• For no border, set the border width to zero (0) or deselect the Border box.

Tip

• In outline view, you can display the Format Picture dialog box by double clicking the inserted picture link.
• To view the slide with the image attached, choose Publish Preview from the File menu.
